Cook the pasta according to package directions and drain. In the same pot you cooked the macaroni in, melt the butter over a low flame. Add the powdered cheese sauce mix and blend well. Slowly add the milk. You can use fat-free milk if you prefer. The extra here is the addition of 8 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese. This will make the macaroni and cheese cheesier and tastier. Just stir it in and make sure not to have the heat too high. Sauce will thicken and all you need to do is to add in macaroni.

Instead of broccoli florets you can substitute California blend vegetables(broccoli,cauliflower and carrots), green beans and carrot circles or any veggies of your liking.
