These two only spent $1 million dollars but for an average American wedding is still a lot of money to consider. They had a palm beach wedding which consisted of 500 wedding guest some of whom were Opera Winfrey, Luciano Pavarotti, Clint Eastwood, Affonse D'Amato, usher, and Elton john. Malania's wedding dress alone, Sexy Cocktailjurken designed by John Galliano of Christian Dior weight 60 pounds due to its crystal rhinestone and pearls! This famous dress made the cover of Vogue magazine. Donald trump continued to charm Melania by giving her a 15 carat diamond ring which originally cost $1.5 million but only ended up paying half that price. The invitations were golden script which banned any type of recording or cell phones during the ceremony. The guest were also invited to enjoy a three day luxury of Mar-A Lago's activities such as golf, tennis, and spa. The reception's meal consisted of filet mignon with green peppercorn sauce and steamed shrimp. This beautiful ceremony couldn't forget about the 36 piece orchestra led by Michael Rose.

Some of the guest who attended were Elizabeth Hurley and Karl Lagerfield. The reception's menu consisted of boxes of pizzas but it's because the gown the bride wore cost $3 million alone.
5. Wayne Rooney and Colleen McLaughlin $15 million (June10, 2008)
Ranking at number 5 is Wayne Rooney, an English footballer who plays for Manchester United and English national team and Colleen McLaughlin, a TV presenter. These two celebrated their special day at the Italian Rivera which costs them a lot but it didn't make a difference because they would recouped it later by magazines and the media. Their special day couldn't be completed without their closest friends and family members, sixty of them attended and five were flown out in private jets so they could arrive on time. The celebration went on from June 10th to June 14th each day with a different event some of which consisted of, breakfast everyday, champagne, a masked ball, and a performance of an unknown rapper. Colleen wore a dress designed by the famous British designer, Georgina Chapman which costs her $200,000. Colleen had her priest flown out so he could be the one doing the ceremony. Each of them pampered themselves before the big day, Wayne celebrated with five of his friends at the villa in ibiza and Colleen celebrated at the Canary Islands. Two of Wayne's cousins were not invited by Colleen because they had problems with Colleen on her twenty-first birthday bash.
4. Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian $17 million (August26, 2011)
Number 4 is Kris Humphries, an American basketball player who plays for the New Jersey Nets and Kim Kardashian, an actress. This couple had been dating for six months when they finally decided to tie the knot. Four hundred and fourty guest joined them on this special day, some of whom were Demi Lovato, Mario Lopez, Eva Longoria and Avril Lavigne. Kim wore a beautiful white gown designed by Vera Wang. Kim thought that she would be marrying Kris to live happily with him but she was terribly mistaken because the happiness between these two lasted only around seventy-two days when Kim decided to file for divorce. She states that there are too many irreconcilable differences. It is said that Kim stated that she would pay for her own lawyers and that he would have to pay for his. Kim also made sure that there existed a prenuptial agreement between the two. It is also said that Kim filed for divorce papers because Kris wants to settle down in Minnesota something that Kim isn't too pleased about. Kris claims that he was not aware of Kim's decision for filing for divorce until the actual day that Kim went to see a divorce lawyer.
3. Andrei Melnichenko and Aleksandra Kokotovich $30 million (September3, 2005)
Ranking at number 3 is Andrei Melnichenko, a Russian business man and Aleksandra Kokotovich, a Serbian model. The wedding celebration took place at the French Rivera. They celebrated with the live performance of Christina Aguilera and Whitney Houston. Aguilera was flown in on a private jet with her boyfriend and stayed at a five star hotel all complementary of the bride and groom. She also received $3.6 million for her stunning performance.
2. Prince William and Catherine Middleton $50 million (April29, 2011)
Number 2 is Prince William, elder son of Charles, prince of Wales and late Diana Princess of Wales and Catherine Middleton, part owner of Party pieces (private company). These two met each other in Scotland at the University of St. Andrew in 2001. There they started a relationship but ended up splitting for several months but continued their friendship. Catherine still attended royal events with William when they finally decided to reconcile and later announced that they would soon marry. The royal wedding took place in Westminister Abbey which is a historical place which was found more than 1,000 years ago. The royal wedding couldn't be complete without friends and family members, a total of 1,900 guest attended. 50 members of the royal family, 40 from foreign royal families, 200 members of Parliament. About 10,000 people lined the streets of the wedding route. This wedding was covered by the media worldwide and was expected to bring in about two billion watchers.
1. Amit Bhatia and Vanisha Mittal $78 million (November18, 2006)
Finally number 1 is Amit Bhatia, businessman and philanthropist and Vanisha Mittal, daughter of Lakshmi Mittal, owner of the world's largest steel company. This wedding is known as the most extravagant wedding of the century. This wedding ceremony is listed in the World Genesis book of record. There was 1,000 guests who attended this wedding each whom received a 20 page invitation in silver boxes which included five star Paris hotel for the five days of the celebration, plane tickets, and many other exquisite features in which the guests would pampered themselves. The wedding celebration was held for five days each in France's most famous settings. The reception was decorated with 10,000 flowers, it also consisted of 45 different chefs, and a 200 pound Grand Mariner wedding cake. The bride was spontaneously dressed with a 13 foot train, 1,500 rhinestones, and weight 60 pound dress. Vanisha's father rented out a temporary castle in Saint cloud which was specifically built for the occasion.
