Miss Poinsett County Fair Queen Pageant

Upcoming 2010 Miss Poinsett County Fair Pageant offers $500 Scholarship!Calling all Poinsett County Girls, age newborn - 21 years! It is time for the Miss Poinsett County Fair Pageant. This year 2010 Miss Poinsett County Fair Queen Pageant will again offer a five-hundred dollar scholarship to the Queen winner of the Miss Division. In addition, she will have the opportunity to compete in the Northeast AR District Fair Pageant and in the Arkansas State Fair Pageant! The Miss division is open to females age 16 years old through 21 years old. Attire for contestants in the Miss division is a pageant Trouwjurken nl or prom dress. The divisional breakdown by age is Tiny Miss- newborn 15 months old, Dainty Miss- 16 months - 2 years vloer-length avondjurken old, Petite Miss 3-5 years old, Little Miss - 6-8 years old, Young Miss - 9-11 years old and Jr. Miss - 12-15 years old. Contestants age newborn through 15 years old will compete in Summer attire instead of pageant wear.

In each division, there will be a Queen and two alternates chosen. Queens will receive a Rhinestone Crown, a trophy and a banner. Two alternates will receive a trophy and a banner. Finalist in each division will receive a small trophy.

The Pageant will be held on Saturday, August 7th at Harrisburg School Center for the Arts Building with registration at 1:00 PM and the pageant beginning at 2:00 PM. Entry fee is $30.00 and optional photogenic entry fee is $5.00. Deadline for entering pageant will be August 1st. However, late entries will be accepted until August 5th with a $10.00 late fee. Applications will also be available at area businesses such as banks and beauty shops.

In A-lijn Avondjurken the near future, the pageant directors hope to be able to return to holding the Pageant at the Fairground Beauty Revue Building if enough money can be raised to rebuild the building. The Beauty Revue Building is presently in poor condition and any donations towards this cause would be much appreciated.
